16 years Regulus was quite, without any friends, he preferred staying home and studying rather than go out. Though he wanted to. He wanted to be like Sirius, but his life took a different direction. When Sirius was leaving his house he asked his brother “Are you coming with me or becoming one of them?”. Regulus wanted to go but his love for his parents made him stay. He regretted this till the moment he died. When he found out that Sirius had joined the Order he decided that he was going to do whatever he could to help them bring down Voldemort, even though he was a Death Eater. He didn’t live as a hero, but died as one.

After his first date with Lily, Sirius wrote “Are you kidding me?”. Few years after that he found his diary and under the “Are you kidding me?” he wrote a “I’m glad you weren’t kidding. Perfect one, James.”

He then realised it was not James playing and remembered that the first time he saw James play he had thought the exact same thing.

He only left for 1 hour to go and steal some chocolate cupcakes for James. When he came back Lily had taken his place by James’s bed and was holding his hand while he was asleep.
